East African Breweries Limited (EABL) has opened applications for its 2026 national internship

 East African Breweries Limited (EABL) has opened applications for its 2026 national internship program, inviting eligible Kenyan students to apply for placements running between January and December 2026.


The company explained that the undergraduate internship program is organized quarterly with new cohorts every three months, although the application window opens only once annually.

Available Internship Fields

EABL’s program features opportunities across multiple disciplines.

Business-related fields include:

Accounting, Finance, Economics, Actuarial Science, Business Administration, Marketing, Human Resources, Communications, Public Policy or Public Relations, Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science and Analytics, Statistics, Project Management, and Supply Chain or Operations Management.

Manufacturing and technical fields include:

Engineering (Chemical, Biochemical, Microbiology, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, Civil, or Packaging), Food Science and Technology, Environmental Science, Agriculture, Logistics and Procurement, Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, and Health, Safety and Environment (HSE).

The company cautioned that positions in Nairobi are limited and encouraged applicants to consider deployments outside the capital to increase their chances.

Opportunities Outside Nairobi

Sales (Data Analysis and Insights): Coast, Nyeri, Kisumu, Nakuru

Agriculture: Molo

Food Science & Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical): Kisumu

IT and Computer Science: Kisumu

EABL added that being open to working in these regions could significantly boost the chances of being matched to available openings.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must specify their preferred internship period when submitting their applications.

To qualify, candidates must:

Be in their third or final year of study.

Be continuing with their education after the internship or awaiting graduation.

Not have completed school more than 12 months before the application — otherwise, the system will automatically decline the application.

Students must also be enrolled in an accredited public or private institution and must be on a school break during the internship period.

Mandatory Requirements

Applicants must upload:

A letter from their institution confirming active student status or need for attachment.

Personal accident insurance valid for the entire internship duration.

Bank account details.

National ID.

KRA PIN.

NSSF and SHA numbers.

Application Process

EABL highlighted several key points:

Applicants must clearly indicate their current degree or field of study to allow proper placement.

The internship duration is a fixed three-month period, with no extensions.

After applications close, shortlisted candidates will sit for an online assessment.

No physical submissions are accepted — applications must be made exclusively through the online portal.

The company does not charge any fees, and applicants should watch out for scammers.

Applications close on 31st December 2025.
